Since liberals like to say US action against Iraq was unilateral, I guess they don’t believe the countries listed below exist, since they were part of the US coalition.

I understand the Rwandan special forces were instrumental in capturing Baghdad, killing Udai and Qusay, and locating Saddam. Don’t mess with the Rwandan SpecOps boys…
Aside from the United Kingdom of Great Britain aqnd Northern Ireland (and maybe Micronesia), every country on that list joined the “coalition” only after being threatened or bribed to do so (and only after Bush had made it clear that he was going to invade Iraq regardless of any arguments or evidence). That makes the decision unilateral (with strong overtones of the local bully demanding his way).
I hate to essentially ask for cites in the Pit, but in what way were Australia, Japan, Italy, Spain, or South Korea threatened or bribed to join the coalition?
The intelligent question to have asked would have been, ‘What percentage of the countries in this list would we have wanted to provide troops’?
There are precious few countries that can deploy significant forces any distance, keep them supplied, then fight next the US Army. Eritrea is not among them.
Do they? Do they really? Well, gosh-darn those un-american, Saddam-loving liberals anyway. They ought to be hung, those traitorous bastards, they ought…say, before I light the torches, would you mind singling out a few of these nefarious, unilateral action-claiming liberals by name?
Heh, I looked up Eritrea since I never heard of it before, and apparently their big battles have been casting off the mighty military oppression of Ethiopa…
I came from one of those nations, I know they exist; I also know that many people there were and are opposed to the kiss ass behavior (bribes are not needed, other benefits are considered)of the current ruler, and the same goes for many other nations in that list. Any more questions Mr. burning, itching, irritating, Hydrocortisone?
Neither are in much of a position to do much harm to the other.
Regardless, the claim the idiot Left was (and is) making is that Coalition actions in Iraq were unilateral. Since it is plain to see that A) We had a ‘Coalition’, and that B) It was made up of more than one country, it is safe to say that the morons who decry the action as ‘unilateral’ do not have a fucking clue what they are talking about.
