It’s sorta latin jazz muzak. You can hear it in How Clean Is Your House?, Location, Location and numerous other day time tv fodder in the UK. Adam and Joe parodied the type of programme and the music perfectly in their People Place skits. This type of muzak is in so many shows. Is there a particular reason for this?
Is it production music? One of the largest production music houses, KPM, is British. (Their cues are used in a lot of television commercials and especially comedy programs on networks like Nickelodeon and Comedy Central, usually in an ironic fashion.)
