why do my flash drives all have recycle bins all of a sudden and how to remove them?

seriously this is pissing me off, I have a 1gig flash drive that I deleted a bunch of files from to make room for more only the room didnt appear, (this was at work) since I had another drive I just used that one but when I got home I plugged into my pc which has view hidden files turned on and sure enough there was a hidden recycle bin with all the damn files I just erased inside…wtf is the point of this nonsense?
kinda the same issue (no wait, the exact same issue) with my portable hard drive, I have a 250 gig with over half of it perma filled and also have to clear the damn recycle bin to make room for files after I delete to make room for new stuff.
I cant say for sure about the 250 gig and since its so huge it really is another hard drive (hell it even shows up as a hard drive under my computer) I can kinda understand the recycle bin but on a friggin 1 gig flash drive? what the hell?

anyway I can get rid of this nonsense?

If you’re using Vista, here’s something you can try (something similar might work in XP):

Plug in the flash drive. From the desktop, right click on Recycle Bin and click Properties. Your flash drive should be listed under Recycle Bin Locations. Select it, select ‘Do not move files to the Recycle Bin’ and click OK.
