Why do my windshield washer sprayer things not work very well?

Anaamika, there’s nothing wrong with your sprayers. If you look at my location, I can vouch that it’s simply too cold in New York for the washer fluid to do anything more than flow sluggishly. You’ll have to wait until a thaw to get them working again.

Sigh
It must get pretty darn cold in Nuevo York.

Well, it’s regularly droped below 0F all week, so yeah, anything that holds until 0 isn’t much good.

I never even thought about it to be honest. I mean, we’re in NY, we should automatically have those other kinds.

Sounds like you need to visit an auto parts store. Prestone makes some low temp fluid and additive for existing fluid. Click Products on the left side of the link, and then Windshield, and you’ll see what I’m referencing.

Don’t listen to danceswithcats. That Prestone stuff’ll only get you down to -34F. The Rain-X I linked to works all the way down to -35F. A condiderable advantage.

Many thanks for informing this infidel of his ignorance, Sahib.
