Another hijack:
On Oxford Street last night, a gentlemen with a megaphone was exhorting the passing crowds to repent and give their lives to Jesus. Or at least that’s what I think he was saying. Not only was it so loud people had to put their fingers in their ears as they passed to avoid being deafened, but there was so much distortion that all I could hear was:
“wurble wurble wurble JAYYYY-sus wurble wummel wurble WURBLE wurble ** JAYYYY-sus**…”
Important tip for street preachers: your message will go down better if people can actually tell what it is.
