Apologies for reviving this old thread but it was the one that compelled me to become a suscriber. On the peripheral vision/balance debate I think the question one should ask on the subject is “Why DON’T birds bob their head when they are flying?” I believe this question kills the peripheral vision theory and strengthens the balance theory. I hope this question is observed and commented on…
