Why do so many of the more confrontational paparazzi have Eastern European accents?

On TMZ and other celebrity news sites it always surprises how many times the really aggressive paparazzis stalking the celebrities often have eastern european or Israeli sounding accents. It seems that at least 50% of the time someone is really going after a celebrity in an obnoxious fashion they are shouting out with a vaguely eastern european/mediterranean/Israeli type accent.

Are there a lot of foreigners working the US paparazzi beat?

I don’t watch TMZ or read “celebrity” news sites… I was going to type more, but I really don’t care.

Maybe they are Armenian? There are a shit-ton of Armenians in L.A., particularly Glendale, for some reason.
