because the “authority figures” are assholes, they only reason they become cops, teachers etc … is so that others lick their ass, and some people are not cool with licking their ass just to make them happy.
I only have a problem with authority figures who flaunt their authority for no good reason. It would make me less angry to get a traffic ticket from a friendly, reasonable cop (assuming I was actually guilty of the offense) than to get a warning from the type of cop who acts like he’s King of the Road and I’m some kind of lowlife scum.
Strangely enough, in my three years of driving, I’ve never gotten a ticket of any kind, but I’ve dealt with really nasty police officers more than once. Go figure.
