Why do some posts have the thread title in the post title?

Aha. I searched for IvoryTowerDenizen’s posts to check if they’re usually like this, and found the following

I am testing the Taptalk- I do like it, except it drives me insane that it copies the thread title and my sig on every post. I hate cluttering up the threads with that stuff.

Other than that it’s good!

I use it to read, but I won’t post because of that.
