Sorry, I’m probably being incredibly stupid but I just can’t fathom…
I believe those are supposed to be pushpins.
Pushpins!
Acorns?
Pushpin. To symbolise being ‘stuck’ to the page.
BAHAHAHAHAHA
Thank you ladies and gentlemen, let me chalk this up as the stupidest thing I’ve said all week…
Maybe but its still early in the week.
Stupid thing I said once: “Halal? Isn’t that where the animal has to be alive before they kill it?”
Don’t feel bad.
True, true.
And maybe I’m still a little off from 4:20 but you guys I’m sorry…those things look NOTHING LIKE PUSHPINS.
[mumbles to self] The REST of the world is crazy, the REST of the world is crazy…[/mts]
I am about to say something stupid myself (nothing new there): What is the significance of 4:20?
I’ve seen it elsewhere and thought it was some in thing there, but now that I have seen it here I am curious. I could google, but I prefer to look dumb and ask.
No problem, Lobsang…
4:20 on 4/20 is the National Pot Smoking Moment of National Pot Smoking Day…
BellaDellaItalia, proprietor of Stupid Questions since…4:20 today
As I understand it, 4:20 is the universal time for smoking non-tobacco substances, just as 5 o’clock is deemed the cocktail hour. Errr, so I’ve been told. Just to clarify.
I believe they’re called “pushpins”.
No! Don’t hurt me! AAAgh…
I thought they were acorns, too. It took a 21" monitor to set me straight.
They only hurt if they are 1920’s style pushpins!
Oh, I should just start a damn thread…
After taking a good look at them, they really DO look a lot like acorns.
Yes, they do.
After finding out they were suppose to be stick-pins or thumbtacks, I looked at them again and tried to see them as such, didn’t happen, they’re ACORNS.
Great, now I can only see them as acorns. They used to be pushpins, but now they’re acorns. Look what you did.
Side note: If it’s a “sticky”, why do you need a pin at all? Isn’t a sticky like a Post-It?
Who’s smoking 420’s style acorns at cocktail hour?
I’m all confused…
Most widely accepted reason for why 420 has that connotation.
For the heck of it watch the movie Pulp Fiction and look at the clocks.
And they do look like acorns now that you mention it…
