Why do we hear less when we yawn or is just me??

I waswatching some Tv the other day and my body decided to take a big wide yawn and I coundnt help but notice that I didnt hear the movie prperly for that momment. Why?

The act of yawning causes pressure changes, acting thru the eustacian tubes, which make the eardrums less mobile for a brief time; hence decreased hearing.
