Ah, same here. I’ve had the best sex of my life while stoned, and my girlfriend claims the same.
Stoned sex was never anything speical for me. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome, but not awesome enough that I felt like I was doing something special when I did it. Usually when I had sex stoned it was just that we happened to hang out to smoke pot and ended up doing other things. As far as enhancing the sexual experience, I really preferred DXM. Nitrous was a great icebreaker, but you’d have to wait for it to wear off before you start anything, because while it’s in effect you can’t feel anything. This, of course, is where its value as a dental anaesthetic comes in.
Anyway, a lot of things people say about weed–for example, that it’s great for sex, or that eating food kills the high, or some other things…I never found to be true in my experience. YMMV.

I smoke for many reasons. It started as a social experiment and curiosity. I strongly believe that pot affects people differently and I am one of the people that really enjoys it. I like the way it stimulates my creative thinking above all else. I like the way it makes me (temporarily) forget stress from the day. I like the social aspects of the drug and how it makes it easier to bond with others. It occasionally helps with IBS and headaches. Believe it or not I smoke when I am sick (as in severe colds) and it makes me feel a little better.
On the other hand I don’t like that I have to hide my habit from the public and the government. I don’t like paying 10x what I think it should be. I hate buying it and moving it from place to place. I hate that there are penalties so severe attached to the purchase that a murderer stands a good chance of being released from prison before I do.
You’ll notice that most of my “hates” are directly related to our government making the substance illegal. Change that and you’ll change the world.

I think the objection is based on the fact that recreational use of DXM is illegal. Regardless, any opposition to the warning is probably suited for ATMB. I’m not going to start an ATMB thread about it because I think the warning is understandable. If you feel differently, please speak your mind on ATMB.
