Why does adobe acrobat take so damn long to load!

As it is, they’re saying Version 8 is just around the corner, so get yourself current, if you can.

The full version Acrobat 8 came out earlier this week, but I’m not sure when Reader 8 is coming out. I have found that for the full version, Acrobat 8 is MUCH more of a bloated hog than 7 is (but not quite as bad as Acrobat 6). I’m holding out hope that they make Reader a bit more streamlined than Professional.

Foxit Reader is free, fast-loading, has a small footprint, and renders PDFs much more quickly than Adobe Acrobat Reader (this is particularly noticeable when scrolling around high-density documents such as maps).

Excellent advice! I installed Foxit going on 6 months ago and it works FANTASTIC!!

So does Adobe suck sh*t through a straw or is it just me?
