Why does being a born-again Christian often necessarily equate to being right-wing politically?

One of my fomer cow-oekers is a white, staunchly Catholic, staunchly Republican, gay male.

He’s a one man stereotype wrecking crew!

Short answer: the system.

How is regulation of manure use an “economic” issue?

Pretty sure she was referring specifically to towns not being able to put religious displays on public land, and not your entire list.

I am referring to the social things and what people do in the privacy of their own homes, like the Abortion issue, Birth control for some, being gay etc. Some Christians wouldn’t vote for Jesus because he seemed to be a liberal. The first Christians were communistic ( they shared everything in common).

Yes, that is it. There is no reason that they cannot put a crib scene or any religious symbol on private property.

I personally don’t care if people put religious things of any religion. I do know that for many hundreds of years Christmas wasn’t celebrate nor was there a Christmas tree, or Manger scene and Christians didn’t seem to worry about their faith; they just lived it! Some want their religion to be the only one put up in public. Perhaps if they really lived it they wouldn’t have to worry?
