Bruce Campbell had an anecdote about Curry, when they were making Congo. Campbell thanking Curry for being part of a film that helped him and his buddies out. Curry replied that he had gotten a lot of thanks from theater owners whose midnight RHPS showings were the only thing keeping their doors open.
