Well, I looked at the video. Color me unimpressed. I’ve always thought Bjork was terribly cute, and thought that this song was particularly sensuous … but, somehow, she managed to suck all of the eroticism right out of it in this video. First, there’s that row of Bjorks, making her seem like some sort of android. (But then, perhaps a naked robot Bjork appeals to some 
.) Then, instead of being at all involved with the lyrics (which are hot), she’s playing with freaking licorice laces! She uglied herself up real good with that monstrous, want-to-be-a-geisha, Homogenik hairdo. And, I hate to say it, but … her body just isn’t as good as I was expecting. I know she’s a mom, but, as a celebrity, I figured she’d put in the required 4 hours a day of exercise to stay in top shape.
Surrealistic Icelandic angst, huh?
