Why doesn't band-aids stick to the palm of my hand?

The title says it all. I realize that the texture is different, so the answer is possibly there, but why won’t the glue stick to the inside of my hands, while sticking to the outside? It’s not uncommon with a cut on the inside, and one would think that the makers of band-aids see this and want to find a sollution. That there doesn’t appear to be one indicates that there’s something at work (or not) that makes this a non-accessible feature.
And no, I don’t have sweaty palms.

Hair?

(that was more of a bump than a snark attack).

WAG…(and I should warn you that my last WAG was way off)…would be that it has something to do with the relatively high concentration of sweat glands located there compared to other locations. This couple with the concave surface (when you flex your palm) dicourages sticking.
