When Arab TV displays children parading in Gaza City’s stadium,proudly strapping dynamite on their belts hoping to be the next suicide bombers,and being cheered on by tens of thousands of Palestinians, led by their highest leadership—, you see an entire society gone inhumanly mad.
History repeats:Germans were mostly decent people in 1933–but when mass hysteria set in, an entire society dehumanized itself, as good people simply lost control. Palestinians have put themselves through a similar process.
You say “I try to be tolerant”–and I’m sure you mean it sincerely.But there are some things that no one should be tolerant of.
Imagine: on the tonight’s news, an American channel shows, say, a neo-Nazi group of 100 kids, preparing explosives in Idaho. There would be massive outcry by the American public to find the nutcase parents and remove the kids from their custody. We’d call in the FBI and the Army if necessary–remember Waco, Texas?
When the Palestinians do the same with their fanatics, then the next generation of children will know peace.
