Now forgive me for throwing this in, but many retirees are sitting on jobs a younger person needs. So them retiring allows others to move up the ladder.

This was a letter to Dear Abby a while back. Some young person complaining about old people keeping their cushy jobs while young people have to work the low paying bottom ones.

I cannot begin to tell you what is wrong with that statement.

Retirement is for quitters!

I’m 38, and really don’t ever expect to retire. It just seems silly if you’re fit to ever retire. I know argument about making room for another worker, but really, this isn’t a factory economy.
