I know this as fact from my youngest brother that died of throat cancer and was addicted to drugs. As far as DEI, affirmative action or anything goes, I believe that maybe that was needed back when integration first started. Blacks, Hispanica, Asians, Whites,… all have the same opportunities to get an education, go to college, get a job, join the military … All races are in jobs such as Doctors, Lawyers, Congressmen, Teachers, Dentist, … To have programs that are dedicated to giving one race a leg up over another race / ethnicity is a racist program. Democrats are very good at playing the race card - don’t fall into their trap.

Well MacDoc, I apologize if I hurt your feelings by my post. That was my fault for responding to another person who was upset about President Trump getting rid of DEI. America and any country should have the person that is most qualified for a position / job be in that position / job. Not because they are LBGTQ or because of their ethnicity / race or sex.
And thank you for showing you can’t read, I didn’t know how serious it was, but thanks to Obamacare a doctor did see me (most poor people don’t check because of the cost, you tone deaf and non empathic git) so then I rushed to the ER. With no Obamacare, I would not had checked with a general practitioner too check a temperature and persistent tummy ache.
