There are some asshole owners out there I know. But regarding the dog traits I mention in this thread - the dogs are born that way. A dog doesn’t bark incessantly because of something it’s owners do or don’t do. One breed of dog left in the yard might keep perfectly quiet, while another might bark constantly for no reason.
In the incident of my cat’s death I blame the dogs and owners equally. I revile the trait of viciousness which caused the dog to kill the cat, and I revile the consistent carelessness of the owner allowing these dogs to run free, despite knowing their vicious and potentially dangerous behaviour.
