Why is Philly brand cream cheese SO salty/sweet?

I’ve tried the various other brands of cream cheese, they all taste fairly similar a very light very slightly sour taste(bit like sour cream). But Philly tastes very different, and it is the only brand that does. It tastes very salty and sweet? too.

I find I prefer the non-famous brand’s flavor over Philly.

Because all nationwide mass-marketed foods are salty and sweet, because that’s what sells to the largest number of people.

Have you looked at the labels and compared ingredients as well as looking at the NUTRITION FACTS that are on all packages?

You might ask why the other brands are so bland . . . and cheaper.

I’d like to know what is up with their packaging? The lid doesn’t fit properly and the cheese almost always goes bad before we finish it…never remember to put it in another container…wouldn’t have to if the lid fit!
