They can and do.
Ok so from what I can gather…
Seafood meat is used to lower temperatures and will therefore “go bad” more easily than Landfood/Earthfood.
Well, Jeremy Piven didn’t actually have mercury poisoning–it was mainly because he didn’t want to stay in “Speed the Plow.”
Okay, “reputed” celebrity case.
I don’t care much for seafood, but how is seafood prepared? Is it generally well cooked? I know a lot of peope eat rare beef but generally pork and chicken and the like is well cooked.
Could it be that seafood is not usually prepared in such a way that it’s cooked thoroughly?
Land food: Pork. Beef. Chicken.
That’s it for most people throughout the year.
Seafood: I don’t even know where to start and end the list. It’s long. Further, there are numerous species that are eaten uncooked or mildy cooked.
Handling: Seafood has an interesting trip to your kitchen. The others: not-so-much.
Seafood: You are more likely to consume more than just flesh. What do you eat when you devour Shrimp? Crabs? Lobster? Clams? Oysters? And the list goes on. You eat lots of interesting bits and pieces. You eat beef/pork/chickn and you ain’t eating very much beyond flesh.
Land Food: Have it well done. Cook it more than you might need. Seafood is often ruined by modest overcooking.
