Officially, he stepped right up to the bat and said that he was shocked and upset about the attack, which, officially, keeps us from saying, “Oh yeah? Well, we think you did it.”

Cnn just announced that one of the hijackers met with Iraqi intelligence last year.
I’ve seen quite a bit mentioned about him, myself. Israeli intelligence has said they have evidence that he funded the attack; I heard an unconfirmed report early this afternoon that one of the hijackers met with an Iraqi intelligence officer in Europe earlier this year. Common sense makes me think we’re looking into these leads.
On Sunday’s edition of “Meet the Press” Dick Cheney answered “no” when Tim Russert asked if there is any evidence linking Iraq. Of course, maybe he’s spreading misinformation to Iraq via “Meet the Press”

I saw a snippet of the press conference on CNN. It came from Sec. Def. Rumsfeld, I think.
On a related note, British military spokesmen have announced yet another attack on an Iraqi AA missile site in southern Iraq, according to the AP wire.
