Well, I don’t feel so bad about not understand the appeal of the Hilton sisters now. Sure, they may be attractive, but I wonder what’s underneath all that make-up.
Never heard of her until I opened this thread. Maybe she’s not as famous as you thought. Then again, I pay no attention to the personal lives of celebrities, as I couldn’t care less about an artist’s personal life–it’s the content of their work that interests me–so I don’t watch E or entertainment gossip shows like ET, so maybe I’m just out of the loop.
I won’t argue about Paris Hilton, but Sharon Stone and Eva Gabor earned their celebrity honestly, by being actresses. Eva is wonderful in Gigi and Green Acres, and Sharon was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for Casino. I agree that Hollywood has its share of women who simply stand around and look pretty, but these two have done work that goes beyond their sex appeal, in Eva’s case outliving her.
