What brand is that? Is it some kind of collector’s item? Why would this (piece of junk) be almost as much as a beat up used car?
A little Googling reveals that “The Great China Wall” is a luxury clothing boutique based out of Los Angeles. Their website is definitely modeled on the principle of, “If you have to ask how expensive it is, don’t bother,” but it looks like there are a lot of secondhand items from their boutique on eBay for several hundred dollars apiece, so I assume it’s pretty expensive to buy it brand new.
Looking at completed sales, they are unlikely to get someone to bid that much. If they let the open market set the price, it might sell for twenty bucks.
OP, go to your link, scroll down a bit, and you will find a section entitled “Questions and Answers about this item”. In that section is a link “Ask a question”. Try asking, then come back and tell us.
Seems amazing that anyone would pay so much money to look so crap, its such an amateurish grunge shirt, plus it doesn’t even have any real street cred, being boutiqueware.
See? P.T. Barnum was right…
What a horrible website that company has.
Anyway looking around on the company website, I think that they are selling those shirts for about $250 - $300. So either there is something special about this particular one, or I have the wrong shirt.
Anyway the company website is horribly desgined. All Flash and you have to have correct screen size and well it just goes on…
Yes, I took a peek out of curiosity and did manage to glimpse a $200-something hoodie and a $4,600 purse, before just giving up. Apparently it’s not fitting that the foul- smelling rabble be able to gape at the merchandise reserved for Our Betters.
