It’s standard journalistic practice to use the term “alleged” in all cases where someone is charged with an offence, for two reasons:
It’s fairer to the accused. The charges have not been proven in court.
It protects the news outlet from a libel action. If they say the “victim of the crime” that’s saying the accused committed the crime. If the accused is acquitted, a libel action may lie.
So, if it’s impossible for a woman to commit rape…
And the penis-wielder identifies herself as being of the female gender…

After all, we have to accept an alternate-gendered person’s personal designation of gender, right?
This probably gets you an 8 or 9 score as a Fox News website article comment, but here it’s barely a 1 and you’re flirting with complete disqualification.
