Or more specifically how can a woman force a man to perform vaginal intercourse on her? Woman can be convicted of raping men, but all the cases I’ve heard about involve adult women having intercourse with an underage male (statutory rape). Has there ever been a case of an adult women using force to have intercourse with an adult man?
There have been a few rare criminal cases involving women raping men. The prosecution relies on the fact that male sexual response is not entirely voluntary, so that merely having a boner isn’t necessarily evidence of consent.
There have also been cases of women being charged with rape for sodomizing men with various objects.
A news story from South Africa reports a police case where a man reported being gang-raped by three women, one of whom held a gun on him.
Men can get involuntary erections even if they aren’t psychologically willing to have sex. If a woman is stronger than a man or can physically restrain him in some way and induces an involuntary erection, she can rape him via vaginal intercourse.
Can you link to any examples? It did occure to me that a woman can use “various objects” to sodomize a man (ala Myra Breckinridge).
I’ve googled about, alphaboi, and even man on man rape is poorly reported, female to male rape seems about statistically non-existant, and in many places, including the UK, not even a crime.
cite, you say? gotta go back for it, hang on…

looks pretty legit, scroll all the way to the bottom.
We have a male Doper who has been quite candid in describing his experiences of being repeatedly raped by a female. I won’t drag him into this unless he feels like contributing on his own.
A male I know was raped by an ex-girlfriend. She held him down and got on top. She was bigger than him.
Also, this thread is a good excuse for me to recommend my favorite novel that should be more famous than it is, The Abyssinian Chronicles, by Moses Isegawa. (Amazon) There is a scene where a man get raped by 3 female soldiers. Come to think of it, I think there is also a man-on-woman gang-rape scene. (I realise now that this sounds gratuitously violent, but the novel takes place during various turbulent times in Uganda, and really the violence is understated.)
I think all it would take, is a ‘date rape’ drug, or somebody being tricked or even somehow forced into restraints from which they could not escape. I know of no cases myself, or no one who has ever admitted to it, but I can imagine a “game” going too far, and suddenly Not Being Fun Anymore. And not stopping.
I imagine Wisconsin’s statutes on the subject are pretty similar to those of other states. In Wisconsin, a person is guilty of sexual assault in varying degrees if he or she engages in “sexual intercourse,” degined as either “vulvar penetration” (Wis stats 939.22 (36)) or “cunnilingus, fellatio or anal intercourse between persons or any other intrusion, however slight, of any part of a person’s body or of any object into the genital or anal opening either by the defendant or upon the defendant’s instruction. The emission of semen is not required.” (Wis stats 940.225(5)©).
The person is also guilty of one degree of sexual assault or another if he or she engages in “sexual contact,” defined as "Any of the following types of intentional touching, whether direct or through clothing, if that intentional touching is either for the purpose of sexually degrading; or for the purpose of sexually humiliating the complainant or sexually arousing or gratifying the defendant or if the touching contains the elements of actual or attempted battery under s. 940.19 (1) :
a. Intentional touching by the defendant or, upon the defendant’s instruction, by another person, by the use of any body part or object, of the complainant’s intimate parts.
b. Intentional touching by the complainant, by the use of any body part or object, of the defendant’s intimate parts or, if done upon the defendant’s instructions, the intimate parts of another person.
-
Intentional penile ejaculation of ejaculate or intentional emission of urine or feces by the defendant or, upon the defendant’s instruction, by another person upon any part of the body clothed or unclothed of the complainant if that ejaculation or emission is either for the purpose of sexually degrading or sexually humiliating the complainant or for the purpose of sexually arousing or gratifying the defendant.
-
For the purpose of sexually degrading or humiliating the complainant or sexually arousing or gratifying the defendant, intentionally causing the complainant to ejaculate or emit urine or feces on any part of the defendant’s body, whether clothed or unclothed." (Wis stats 940.225(5)(b))
If done without consent of the other party.
But “pretty similar” isn’t “exactly the same”. The technicalities of grading do vary, and while all of these things are illegal in most (if not all) states, note that what you’ve listed is “sexual assault”. In many states a woman technically cannot “rape” a man.
Do such legal statutes still exist? I know at one time they did. Wisconsins, up until 20 years ago, or so, basically were about men forcing women into sex, but specifically excluded a mans wife. Since then the word “rape” is an antiquated term that has been replaced by terms like “sexual assault”. And like alphaboi867 has indicated, a woman who could overpower a man could violate him anally. Any act of sexual intercourse that is forced upon a person is in fact “rape”.
Semantically yes. Legally no. If the state legislature has seen fit to define “rape” as a crime, then one cannot be convicted of “rape” without satisfying that definition.
As an example of a code which has rewritten the law into gender-neutral terms, here’s the relevant section of Maryland’s:
I remember a couple years ago checking and this section was not gender-neutral. It has been edited a few times in 2005 and 2006, which was likely when it was changed. Without a thorough run-down I retain my belief that it is likely that in some states a woman forcing a man to have sex (in such a way as is described above) would qualify at most as aggravated sexual assault.
one states definition of rape out of 50.
The dictionary defuinition of rape is:
1. the unlawful compelling of a woman through physical force or duress to have sexual intercourse.
2. any act of sexual intercourse that is forced upon a person.
3. statutory rape.
4. an act of plunder, violent seizure, or abuse; despoliation; violation: the rape of the countryside.
5. Archaic. the act of seizing and carrying off by force.
–verb (used with object)
6. to force to have sexual intercourse.
7. to plunder (a place); despoil.
8. to seize, take, or carry off by force.
–verb (used without object)
9. to commit rape.
Notice how #2 includes any gender.
IIRC, some years ago in Europe, a woman kidnaped, bound, and raped an LDS missionary. Since he was tied up, he didn’t have a lot of say in the matter.
As I said: since Maryland changed it so recently I believe I’m justified in refusing to assume the others all have been until you show me all the other 49.
Didn’t I say, “semantically, yes”? Okay, if that went over your head let’s change it up: do courts use a legal code or a dictionary to convict?
The Op used the term “RAPE” in a semantic sense, not a specific legal definition. That generic sense seems to imply what we now refer to as “sexual assault” or like terms.
Why are you hung up on legal definitions when the OP doesn’t seem to be?
And like I asked before, how many states still have such statutes in their books that define rape in a chauvinistic manner. It’s an actual question, as I don’t know.
The OP also asks how can a woman force a man to perform vaginal intercourse on her. I suppose a man could be forced to wear a strap on dildo to perform intercouse upon a woman. Or perhaps be bound to a bed and stimulated to the point of involuntary erection so the woman could straddle him. I just can’t think of any actual cases where this has happened.
I remember Johnny Carson once commenting during his monologue on a then-current news story about two women tying up a man and raping him. Johnny’s punchline-- “Isn’t that kinda like trying to push a wet noodle through a straw?”
Sorry, carry on.
Demonstrating Carson’s ignorance. A young man in reasonable health can get some mighty hard erections whether he wants them or not - as Carson, being male, should have known.
Every time I’ve gone to a bar and played pool while I was wearing my most alluring clothes and acting all coy and seductive in front of really hot chicks, I can assure you that I wasn’t even close to getting raped. I got laughed at a lot though…
Took me a while to realise it was lesbian biker bar of course. But I’m slow like that…
Back when date rape first hit the national scene, there was a story which detailed cases of men being date raped by women. In general, the majority of cases were where the female blackmailed the men into sleeping with them. (i.e. “If you don’t sleep with me, I’ll tell everyone you’re gay.” Or “If you don’t sleep with me, I’ll tell everyone you raped me.”)
