Why Joey is "special" [Joe Biden and abortion]

Thirty years ago, I was totally pro-choice, Mr. Biden was not. Now I am still totally pro-choice, and Mr. Biden is as well. Works for me.

So was Jesse Jackson.

In fact, at one point he was so pro-life that he went so far as to compare the word “fetus” to the word “nigger” claiming they were both ways of dehumanizing people.

Of course that was over 30 years ago.

Similarly George H. W. Bush used to be pro-Choice but changed his mind.

Well that does it; I’m totally convinced.

I’ve never seen you object to anyone on this MB calling Romney “Mittens”. That’s a lot more common here than anyone calling Obama “Barry”, which is a name he has used to refer to himself at least. I think we can stand to tolerate one “Barry” for every twenty “Mittens”. I’d prefer no one did either, but that went the way of that pony I wanted last year.

Yeah, we need more steadfast guys like Willard, who believe the same thing on Wednesday as they did on Monday, no matter what happened on Tuesday.

But Romney really does believe the same thing on Wednesday that he did Monday. It’s just that on Tuesdays and Thursdays he takes the opposite position.

Once someone has evolved to the correct belief, its ok. I’d consider voting Romney too if he would say he’s pro-choice, and then personally pulled a fetus out of a pregnant woman and aborted it

Me too, but only if he did it with his teeth.

Perhaps, “Mitt Romney believes the same thing on Wednesday that he believes on Monday, no matter what he believes on Tuesday.”

Hey, I’m pretty sure I’ve never called him by that name; that ought to count for something. But OK, like 12-year olds it is.

This could be just the break Richard Gephardt’s campaign has been waiting for!

Hah. That’s much better!

Since my “evolution” on abortion has closely matched Biden’s, in about the same time frame, this makes me more, and not less, eager to vote for his ticket.
