On the basis I laid out in the OP. Based on what I’ve heard him say and admit to doing (and not on anything there is any question about him doing.) I base it on how I felt when I was treated like that.
And if he is, as you say, giving these kids the childhood he wishes he had, then yes…using them as a substitute is exactly what he’s doing. Which is not what a responisible adult does.
Yes, I guess it is remote psychoanalysis…I have never met the man. And if my opinion had greater consequenses for him I would hold myself to a higher standard. I wouldn’t take away his freedom based on my gut instinct (even if you could get someone locked up for being a creep). But I do think my instinct is correct.
As others have pointed out, the Michael is trying to relive his childhood that he missed and he’s just a big kid theories really don’t fly. 11 year old boys don’t hold hands and snuggle with each other, they find that icky. If he was truly reliving being an 11 year old boy then he wouldn’t be so physical with these kids.
Also he’s had over 20 years to get over it. A rational thinking adult would have realized when he was accused of molestation in the early 90’s that his behavior made these type of accusations possible and stopped the sleepovers at the very least. I think his continued behavior in this manner proves he has some issues with reality. Even if he was just very naive, when people told him he needed to stop the kid sleepovers he would have had to listen after what happended, instead he cut those people out of his life. This alone shows he has some issues with coping with reality and that reason alone is enough for him to seek counseling.
People have said that they were concerned for his health and he was on a “suicide watch”, sure an innocent person would be depressed over being falsely accused and on trial but he seemed to be over the edge. There again is another reason for him to seek counseling. Then there’s the whole “oh, I’ve only had two nose jobs” fiasco. He obviously has body issues there since that is a huge lie that’s as plain as the nose barely on his face. Those surgeons that have helped this man continue to mutilate his face and not refer him to a therapist instead should have to answer to some authority as well.
This man has so many mental health issues that he should have had someone intervene long ago and force him to get help. It’s actually a shame that all those around him just enable his illness because they don’t want to kicked off the money train.
If his mental health issues affected only him that would be one thing and he could wallow in whatever fantasy world he chooses to build for himself but these issues affect the children he surrounds himself with (whether he actually molests them or not, his relationships with them is not normal) and his own biologic children.

This guy is such a scum that I can’t even look at him when he’s on tv.
From different biographies on the Jacksons it’s easy to see how Michael got fo f’d up as a pre-teen.
When the Jackson’s were big and on tour they would often have groupies come to the room for sex. Joe Jackson would even get into the act getting favors from the girls in turn for them to be able to meet his sons.
All of this going on with Michael in the same room while he is 10 years old.
They even tried to force girls on Michael when he was 14.
And Joe Jackson telling Michael that if he tells anyone including their mother that he will go to hell.
This all going on while they were Jehovah’s Witnesses to boot.
