Why no nutrition facts on coffee?

I wish that coffee and other beverages were required to list the caffiene content per serving! There are people in this world, like me, who have a low tolerance for caffeine and would like know how much caffiene a product contains. I know one can find that info online, but one does not always have access to do so, e.g. restaurant, on-the-go, etc.

Wouldn’t the caffiene content depend on the particulars of how you roast and brew? I know dark roasts have less caffiene and longer brew times extract more caffiene. I imagine it would be too difficult to provide an accurate measure.

You’re probably right. I hadn’t thought of that.

Soft drinks could easily supply this info, on the package, but they usually don’t. (or it’s very rare.)
