AFAIK, many universities in Ontario are thinking of having classes on Saturdays starting in a couple of years in order to adequately supply teachers and seats in lecture halls to the upcoming double cohort. Course schedules will have the same number of hours, but you might end up with a wednesday off, rather than saturday. I don’t know if/when any formal decision will be made.
