I’m renting a storage unit at a storage facility, and mine is one of many in a large building. At my home, spiders weave their webs all over the outside unless it’s sprayed, and they eventually weave webs inside the house of any room that’s left alone for awhile. Why is there not even a hint of a spider web in my storage unit? Do the managers have some pest control method that includes spiders or do they just not care to live in places that have no other bugs to feed on?
It’s pretty much impossible to know without seeing the unit. It could be because there aren’t many insects to eat, and it’s not close to a source for young spiders. If it’s regularly fumigated for roaches or other insects, that will probably kill the spiders too.
