Why is only the first page of Pit threads visible? The other forums have multiple pages that can be accessed from the bottom.
Because they’re more active, generally. The default is to show only theads that were active in the past two days. You can change this. At the bottom of each forum index page is a dropdown box where you can select a different span of time for which to show threads. Then click the button next to it that says “Show Threads”.
I don’t know that that’s the default - I’ve never changed any of my settings and I can access all the pages of the Pit (way back to 1999).
This can also be changed globally for all forums from User CP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Age Cut Off
IIRC these settings can also affect searches.
