Why so many ambulance chasers (personal injury attorneys) in Las Vegas?

When they started chasing the ambulances, duh.

See , those are the ones who I might call ambulance chasers (although it may have been coincidental, it still seems sort of iffy) - and the ones who must almost literally be chasing the ambulances because someone is there in the ER handing you their card. Or the ones who cold-call you after a car accident.

@Procrustus , I think there’s a huge difference between someone who advertises on a bill board or TV and those who somehow find out that I’m in the ER or had a car accident and specifically contacts me.

Yes. Both are tacky, but the second is much worse. We were approached by a marketing firm that said they could via geo tracking, send facebook ads for our firm to people who had recently been in an emergency room or funeral home. They said these people might need a lawyer and would appreciate the info. We declined immediately. I assume some other firm is trying it out.

There is a firm in our state that does public records requests for police collision reports, and then sends letters offering to help. I don’t know how to stop it, but I wish we could
