Hit them up with a find-toothed comb, follow hints and watch out very carefully for weasel words and consider all possible (while also being reasonable wrt to national security in the context of MAD) interpretations.

I think it should be remembered that our charming new member is arguing that Trump’s entire personality is an act - and presumably has been for decades before he was elected president.
