The movie The Interpreter is shot in the UN building. Some of the extras on the DVD cover the making of the movie, and they show some of the scenes being filmed in the General Assembly hall and the Security Council room. One odd thing is that the murals in those rooms were digitally blurred (like you see on MTV to cover up logos). Anyone know why?
In the General Assembly room, the murals were about in the middle of the side. In the Security Council room, it was the mural in the front of the room.
The shots in the movie obviously weren’t blurred. They just looked like normal murals. Anyone know what’s there in real life?
