Sometimes if there is a party or some other event I will eat way too much unhealthy food and start to feel weak, sweaty, tired, etc.
Usually this will occur sometime around 5-8pm when it does happen. However I notice if I don’t eat much of anything, or anything at all until around noon the next day I feel much better (I usually don’t feel hungry until the next day anyway). It almost causes a very mild euphoria to fast for about 18 hours after I eat way too much in unhealthy food as if it feels like my body is cleaning itself out.
So from a biochemical stance, what is happening to a person’s biology if they fast for 18 hours after an extremely large meal to justify the positive response? Are the extra triglycerides being pulled from the bloodstream and the blood sugar levels stabalizing?
