A lie is a lie. You can try to justify it however you want. There are options between doing nothing, sending someone back into slavery, and stoning someone to death or drowning the world.
And who allowed that to happen? Hint: Any other answer than your god is incorrect.
In any case, the flood is a myth, the same as demons, devils, satan and god(s). The Jews were never enslaved in Egypt etc. You have no proof of any of your claims.
I do apologize for the ‘for you’ part of my comment. It was inappropriate. It deserves a much broader audience and to be rephrased.
I do believe that many people read their holy texts with filters on, rather than critically as someone looking at it for the first time might. They fail to understand that someone not indoctrinated into their system is unlikely to agree with their conclusions and then get all butt hurt when challenged on them.
The bible is heavily larded with goofy, mystical nonsense and questionable object lessons (Job, anyone?), Satan seems more more straightforward and sensible. Though I personally have a hard time understanding why anyone would worship any deity. I mean, as powerful as a superbeing is, it is just doing its job, you might as well worship your 747 pilot. Neither of them are going to offer you anything you could not get on your own.
