Huh…I never made the connection before (see, you DO learn a lot on this board!). Maybe the WTC Towers were giant insects? And maybe the government was actually trying to protect the citizens from an imminent invasion?? And…this is pure speculation, but it fits!..maybe a crusty old timer with a 5 o’clock shadow and a plucky young black guy were really responsible for saving the entire country (AND getting the girl!)???
I mean…it is all sort of coming together. Forget the wombats (mutant space or the normal kind)…this could all be about invertebrates!!!
(It could happen…or, maybe I need to take my own advice and up the voltage)

Look dumbo. the circumstances were quite different, yet the results were the same. That is an indication of poorly designed or poorly built structures. No it is not a suggestion of a conspiracy. But the builders seem to have floated out of this fiasco with little or no damage. They should have major castigation. Where are the lawsuits against the builders?
At the local hospital, a patient was brought in after a car crash and died. A few days, later a person had been shot was brought in and died. Different circumstances, yet the same outcome. Clearly the ER staff is incompetent and needs to be vigorously sued.

Actually there was a law suit which hit the court in 2009. The insurance company found that the diesel fuel tanks had been cited for safety problems in 1998 and 1999. The had storage tanks with 40,000 gallons on the 23rd floor. Bldg 7 had been reinforced so it could eliminate floors if leasees had wanted them to.
The judge found the design and construction were not factors in the drop of the bldg but it rewarded only 10 percent of the money the owners asked for.
But the insurance company invested a lot of money in court because they thought the design and construction was flawed. The judge said they were not but he did slash the amount rewarded tremendously.
Not suspicious at all. But strange . It would require an explanation. Logically they should have been on floor 1 or the basement. They must have had a reason to build huge storage tanks in the middle of the bldg.
There were no tanks or fuel on the 23rd floor. The highest fuel was a 50 gallon tank on the 9th floor. There was a 6,000 gallon tank on the 1st floor, and 4 tanks totalling 36,000 gallons buried outside of the building.
I have been reading a lot on it lately. Some articles make the claim there were. I do not know. But it was a storage for emergency fuel.
If they were not high, then how could they be a big contributor to the fires? The fires started high in the building. Why did they not burn out? Apparently the sprinkler system failed too.
