The tanks weren’t a big contributor to the fire, the fuel was the usual flammable material in office buildings. The sprinkler water supplies were broken by WTC 1 and 2.
The fires travelled and did burn out for some distance from their starting point.
And managed to fall straight down into it’s own footprint, shortly after the owner ordered the NYFD to “pull it”. How convenient was THAT?
Seriously, I don’t know why we pay these so calle professionals so much money and allow them weeks of prep time, when all we have to do is lob a couple barrels of kerosine into an upper floor window and set it off. The buildings would be down in a hour or so.

So…building damaged at 9:59 am (that’s in the morning for the mentally challenged). Building evacuated at 4:30 pm (that’s in the afternoon…like in after NOON, ehe?) because a fire had been raging unchecked in a building that had been massively damaged by debris falling from the other two towers (that didn’t ‘fall in their own footprint’). Notice the time difference? How ‘convenient’ is THAT, ehe? Ehe?
As for the famous ‘pull it’ quote, this happened after the fire chief informed Larry Silverstein that due to the uncontrolled fire and damage the building was in danger of collapse, so Larry basically was saying not to continue to fight the fire and endanger any more lives than had already been lost…IOW, a translation for the idiotic, he was saying ‘get the fuck out and let the building fall if that’s what’s going to happen’.

And Mozart1220 seems to have a real hard on to do the whole zen ‘debate without debating’ thingy about 9/11 CTs (as well as JFK CTs), since I’ve seen him mention both in every thread I’ve seen him in thus far.

Seriously dumbo, the building burned for a few hours . That much is true. But the fires were local, one area then another. It did not engulf the whole bldg. Buildings don’t fall from fires, surely not a modern American upscale building that was reinforced after it was opened. Oh wait, the WTC buildings fell like pancakes. What great monuments to American building standards.
