Wife runs over husband for not voting

I guess this is a pretty compelling reason to vote.

I would swear we discussed something similar happening in relation to the 2008 election–only in that case, the woman backed a vehicle over her husband in the driveway, rather than chasing him around a parking lot and pinning him to a curb. I haven’t been able to find a link yet, though–this story makes searching for the older story difficult.

Someone should let her know that we checked and his vote would not have made a difference.

FWIW I remember that too. Specifically, the wife wanted to go vote for Obama and the husband didn’t want her to, so he tried to bodily block the car. Needless to say it didn’t work.

Not quite–Boyo Jim referred to the real story over in the Pit, and I had misremembered most of it. It was the Wisconsin gubernatorial recall primary. Her husband supported Walker, and she planned to vote for someone else, so he tried to block her from leaving. Here’s the correct story.

Aha, gotcha. I have zero time sense any more, all I remember is that things happened in the past. :stuck_out_tongue:
