Wikipedia article locked after mention on TV show?

We recently came across a news article about some recent TV show where the characters mentioned “look it up on Wikipedia”, and the article got so much vandalism that the article had to be locked. I think I saw the show, because t the time I thought about looking up…whatever it was.

But neither of us can remember which news site had the article, nor what the show was. It was this week, not something older ( I know this happened before, this isn’t about that).

Does anyone know what I’m talking about?

I’ll double check later, but I thought it was “Roseanne” talking about her new (Muslim) neighbors having a huge amount of fertilizer bags on their front lawn.

I shall return.

It definitely wouldn’t be the first such occurrence. Weird Al Yankovic had an image of himself vandalizing the Atlantic Records wiki page (replacing the contents with YOU SUCK!) in his White & Nerdy video. Copycats began doing this for real so much, the page had to be locked.

I remember Stephen Colbert (back when he was in character) encouraging people to vandalize the page on elephants. Here’s an official page.

Due to the events behind this song.
