Will "BHENGAZI-GATE" screw up Hitlery's chances in 2016?

Why doesn’t Obama just release his birth certificate and elementary school transcripts already, and put this whole Benghazi thing to rest?

I just love the self-fulfilling prophecy aspect of the whole thing. I think that there were almost certainly political considerations that went into shaping the Administration’s message, because they believed that the Right would be unreasonable in their response if given any ammunition. Their low estimation of the self-serving, double-standard Right’s politicized response, of course, proved the hypothesis. Until Adaher and his ilk can respond with integrity to the question of “where was your similar response to similar events under a ® administration”, all I can do is shake my head at the human animal.
And yeah, yeah, I know “people on the left do it too”.

I have been asking since October for a specific quote in writing and in full context where any White House official or the President himself ‘blamed the movie’ for the attack. So I will ask you. Do you have a specific transcript in mind?

Ruh roh

Apparently the real scandal is that the White House IT staff hasn’t heard of “digital signatures”. :smack:

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension – a dimension of sound, a dimension of fury, a dimension of mindless. You’re moving into a land where shadow and substance are equal, where hypothetical events produce consequences just like actual ones. You’ve just crossed over into… the Adaher Zone.

At least adaher hasn’t leapt onto Umbrellagate yet.

GOP doctored Benghazi emails

You know that old saying “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me”? (not the one Bush screwed up). At this point, after so much bullshit has come out from the Republican side, no sane person should believe them on anything. Their members are liars, their information are partisan bullshit, and their logic is non-existent

There is NO wrongdoing during Benghazi. The entire summary of what happened is 1) GOP cuts security funding, 2) Random acts of violence flares up, 3) Unfortunate deaths. That’s is. That is all Benghazi is.

Obama did everything right on Benghazi, there was no wrongdoing. Neither is this laughable IRS thing in any way his fault. I’m glad the IRS did what they did, Tea Party groups need to be looked closer, and I’m glad we have such an honest president and a transparent administration to lead us out of the torture and lies perpetuated by the last Republican administration

In a weird way, Benghazigate did Obama a (slight) favor. They’ve been screaming “wolf” for so long, now something actual comes up (IRS wrongdoing) they can’t get any attention. They’re already screaming as loud as they can, and the world has pretty much stopped listening.

It’s like living next door to a grade school. I’ll be alarmed when the screaming stops!

In some ways that’s the worst of it - that it makes it that mucher harder to focus on any actual wrongdoing because it’s all buried by the avalanche of manufactured outrage. The GOP have not only cried “Wolf!”, they’ve cried “Bear!”, “Cougar!”, “Tiger!”, “Manticore!”, “Rabid wolverine!” and “Really big spider! No, seriously, man, you’ve got to see the size of this thing!”. They have achieved negative credibility. At this point the Republicans could tell me that Obama was caught on camera stabbing a hooker and I’d assume what really happened is that he shook hands with a Girl Scout at a Sunday school picnic.

It’s in the same class as Marco Rubio’s water drinking or Bush’s fake turkey.

Here’s some more revelations, answering some of the questions I’ve been asking:

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57584921/officials-on-benghazi-we-made-mistakes-but-without-malice/

The FEST team was purposely not deployed, despite being created for these very contingencies. To their credit, the anonymous administration official regrets that they didn’t deploy it immediately.

It sounds like they might have been misinformed about FEST’s capabilities.

See, here’s the problem: If the adminstration had come clean early on about their mistakes, it would have meant some criticism, but the issue wouldn’t still be going on right now. But the administration would much rather have what’s happening now than even a little bit of criticism in the run up to an election. So they lied.

Contrast this to the Boston response. It was revealed that the FBI interviewed Tamerlan, but didn’t believe he was dangerous. It came out right away, and so it wasn’t a huge deal. Imagine if the administration had told the FBI not to reveal that information, but it had to come out as a result of investigations by Congress or sniffing around by the media, weeks later. That would have looked bad, no?

So, anyone wanna discuss how adaher is kind of a cockhole?

I wish I purchased a winning lottery ticket. That doesn’t mean buying a ticket was the correct action. The administration worthy, quoted anonymously, wasn’t the General on the ground who was evaluating the intel they had. Knowing all the info after the fact makes it easy to decide on a good course of action.

So you post horseshit like this, when you’ve been shown to be wrong time and again. Keep on fuckin’ that chicken, Adaher, KFTC.

As the article points out, the order to deploy the FEST team was supposed to come from the National Security Council, not the general on the ground.

And had the team deployed, the ambassador would still be dead, because, as you continue to ignore, he was dead within half an hour of when the attack began.

Ah yes, the ambassador was the only American that merited rescue.

Of course, if Clinton had been there, every asset would have been deployed immediately.

If Clinton had been there, she wouldn’t have been traveling with a single bodyguard and relying on local police for backup.

How many military casualties would you consider acceptable to prevent the deaths of two rent-a-cops?

If Clinton had been there, she also would have been in a hopeless situation despite her protection. That would not have stopped every deployable military asset within 500 miles from descending on Benghazi.

As for military casualties, we’re on page 10 and no one has cited an example of Americans being left behind purposefully. It’s just not done. It’s so not done that heroes acting alone went to try and save them, and their actions saved 32 lives that day.

If not for them, there would have been 36 deaths, not four. Maybe we would have even gotten a hostage crisis thrown in. Good thing some people put the best traditions of our country ahead of merely following orders.

So, adaher, you’ve been shown, repeatedly I might add, that the generals making the decision didn’t have the info necessary to deploy troops. You’ve been shown that a former Republican Sec of Def thinks that people like you have a cartoonish view of the military. You are simply wrong that any number of troops will be deployed into unknown circumstances to save someone. That’s some shit you saw on TV.

But you still keep repeating nonsense.

Why are you so afraid of admitting you’re wrong? Your beliefs are stupid, fine. But you can change that. What kind of wretched person clings to lies in the face of facts?

What rock were you hiding under when Obama blamed the “movie” for the Benghazi attacks when addressing the UN?
While Rice may not be White House staff, she was certainly not corrected by any White House official for telling lies on 5 different Sunday talk shows.

Typical liberal response. Can’t disprove Adaher, so resort to insults.

I thought the reason being given for not trying to save the Americans was that they DIDN’T have intel.
Whatever, you can’t get around the fact that Obama said to go save them and the military did nothing (officially anyway ).
