Sigh. I’m disagreeing with the degree of criticism that the Democrats are being portrayed as making, both in your OP and in the linked column.
One way of portraying this is Dems criticizing specific policies of the Bush admin. The columnists and yourself over-inflate that into some reckless “attack mode”, where everything is criticized only for partisan gain. There is a difference. Is that too subtle a point to understand?
Portraying the difference by using duplicate newspaper headlines (as if the Dems wrote them!!) is dishonest, it’s misleading, it’s a strawman.
