Will holding the ALT key depressed for a couple hours hurt the computer?

I searched, but couldn’t find a way to program ALT to stay depressed. I have a Dell Dimension, XP pro, standard keyboard.

I went to Accessibility, but that doesn’t do the trick.

Please help.

I don’t know what you mean here. Can you explain? (Note that I was mainly joking about the ciruitry inside the keyboard which is digitally controlled.)
