Will someone market my idea please?

If you, like most of America and myself, have both a cell phone and a home line you’re probably sick of paying two phone bills.
My typical home line bill runs about $80 once long distance is added in. My cell phone is a much better deal since long distance is included and runs me about $40 a month.

I’ve had friends completely drop their land lines so they can save a few bucks. I would do it also but hesitate for these few reasons:

  1. The reception is not always the best on a cell phone.

  2. It’s inconveinient to have the battery run out.

  3. Talking on a tiny phone is not as comfortable as a home handset.

So my idea is to have one of the cellular companies market an item that plugs into a home outlet and then your home phone line plugs into it instead of a wall jack. It would be a cellular transmitter/receiver that 1: Could be stronger than a regular cellphone (now regulated to .6 watts since it’s held next to your head, the old bag phones were 3 watts), 2: Not run out of batteries since it’s powered by a wall outlet, and 3: Let’s you use your comfortable home phone handset.

I would gladly pay my cellphone carrier an additional $30-$40 a month for this additional line. I’d use the savings for cable internet since my dial-up would no longer be used.

How about it???

You mean like this?
