I’d hate to see avatars on this board, but if they ever happened, I think all administrators and staff should have hamster avatars…animated…on little hamster wheels…turning verrrrry slooooowly.

or we could have avatars that was only accepted by the Straight Dope. Like a standard avatar selection of 15-20 symbols

Except in the Location field and with the selection of Usernames. I’d rather not have avatars FWIW though.

What’s with the snarky response? The OP and follow-up certainly don’t deserve it. It would be hard to make a feature request is a less pushy manner.

It has to do with Minotaurus’s posting history. I believe he would indeed be happier on another board, probably one with avatars and animated gifs in the signatures.

I like the hamster video, TubaDiva, but they have to be going much slower. And they need somebody standing over them with a whip. Maybe a “bondage a go-go” whip
Nah, my I just couldn’t think of anything suitably clever, so I just went with simple literal fact. Of course, since then, I’ve seen plenty that made me smack my head and say I should have thought of it first, like /dev/tty1, or 127.0.0.1.
We have a history of being tough on deities major and minor. The Invisable Pink Unicorn was banned as was Satan himself. God often gets a bit of a beating in GD, and even Amazon Floozie Goddess is starting to look worried
