will we se a terror-attack in USA in 2009?

This is something i’ve been thinking of lately

It happen in 1993, the first year when Clinton was president, and in 2001, the first year when Bush was president

should we expect a new attack the first year when the new president takes office?

What you can expect is that when the administration wants to defend anything it is doing in terms of torture or surveillance, it will cite foiled attacks (which will not be detailed due to “national security”) as an excuse.

As long as the US keeps swinging big dick around the world, installing puppet leaders, funding terrorists and then calling them criminals, the US will be hated and people will want to do us harm.

And which of those were we doing in 2001?

We haven’t seen a successful terror attack in the U.S. since 2001 – not because the terrorists have given up, but because of heightened vigilance by intelligence and law-enforcement agencies. That’s not going to change in 2009.

Hold on let me check my Magic Eight Ball…

“Answer unclear, check back later”*
Actually it said “You can count on it” the first time but I disagreed so I shook it again. It is never right the first time anyway…

Certainly not, iff the country has the wisdom to elect Rudy Giuliani president.

The latter since shortly after WW2. Don’t you ever wonder why Islam is suddenly something we’re supposed to be so afraid of, when it’s been around for so long, and why so many people seem to hate us?

I lived in Europe for several years, where people get a lot more information about what’s really going on in international politics. The US has had bloody hands for decades, and has created many enemies for itself.

Your exquisite humor is so dry that someone might even take you seriously.
