One thing all the recreational outragers at recreational outragers fail to grasp is that some and maybe even most RO is triggered by way too close a brush with the sort they are outraged at. It may well be a quick purge about a subject they cannot dwell on and a casting about for like minds and a sympathetic shoulder. I understand that those who haven’t been touched by serious misfortune in those areas are oblivious to the ways some deal with it and some of the comments are funny but take a moment to consider how you would feel were you to discover those you poke fun at were victims scarred and struggling to deal with their pain by lashing out with a harmless though ineffectual vent. You just never know about people and what they have had to deal with in their lives.
Sometimes the shit bucket fills up with just one more horrible story and it sloshes over in a vented rant about that story when it really isn’t about THAT story. Sure, it shouldn’t be done on a forum and rather among good friends but you can’t always pick where the shit spills.
